I leave Saturday morning for the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It's only Thursday, but I might not get a chance to do this later on, so I'm writing my going away post now. I'll be gone for an entire week, and I will return on July 5th. I haven't packed a single thing yet. I am such a procrastinator!
I'm starting to get a little more worried though. I looked up the weather for the time I will be down there, and there's supposed to be two nice days and the rest calls for thunderstorms. Just my luck. Hopefully everything will go smoothly, and I will have fun.
With that said, see you in July. I'll have plenty of pictures to share with you, I'm sure. I'm going to end this blog with a picture taken from the Outer Banks when I went two years ago.

I was in Newport Beach here in So Cal last Wednesday! I'm hoping to go to a bunch of other beaches before the end fo the summer too, like Oceanside and Huntington Beach. I'd love to go to a beach in another country but seeing what the plans and finances look like this year, it doesn't look like it's happening. =( Hopefully you have fun out there and the weather predictions are wrong!
Ahh, Outer Banks! They're the place that sells the cute shorts that saw "Outer Banks" across the butt, yes? Heh.

That beach looks amazing! The water even looks clean enough to swim in…unlike the musky shores of Lake Erie. Hope the weather's good, and you're having loads of fun!
