If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that the past few days I have been working on a new layout. Well, it's finally here. My design skills are a little rusty, but I don't think it turned out too bad. I worked on it for three days, which is probably the longest I've spent on a layout. I'm still in disbelief that I kept the old layout up for three months. That's definitely my record. I remember when I used to change my layout every two weeks.
Speaking of layouts, I was browsing blogs recently, and I couldn't believe just how many of them looked like they came straight out of 2005. They were complete with the celebrity headers, brushes galore, tiny sidebar, 8 pt font, and bolding/italicizing every other word. I thought this trend would have faded out by now, but apparently people still think it's cool.
About two years ago, I was rarely hit on by guys. I always thought something was wrong with me or that guys didn't find me attractive. Now, however, guys seem to hit on me, and I hate it. The guys are usually either weird, ghetto, won't take no for an answer, or all of the above. A year ago, there was that creepy guy who wanted me to cheat on my boyfriend with him. About a month ago, a guy hit on me while I was sitting in my car. At least he backed off when I told him I had a boyfriend. Two nights ago, I got hit on by two guys at the same time. I was just getting home from work. While walking to my apartment, a guy stops me. He was totally stoned off his ass and wouldn't leave me alone. Even after telling him I had a boyfriend, he was still trying to get my number. Sorry, but no. Then one of his friends came over. He was even worse. He kept telling me to come chill with them, even after I said no. Finally, I just ignored them and walked in the house. It's funny how I felt depressed that guys would never hit on me, and now that they do, I hate it. I wouldn't mind it so much if they would just learn how to back off when I tell them I'm taken and happy.

I love the new layout! It's a big change from all the darker layouts you've had, not that I didn't like those. The only suggestion I have is to move your captcha above the submit button since I keep forgetting to fill it out. 
Oh and I know. I see so many layouts with trends from way back when. You think those stupid trends would die out! I really hate the random bolding, italicizing and underlining of words, especially when each HTML tag has its own color! Ugh.
Yeah, I hate those blogs too, but they are mostly just personal blogs which I rarely read anyway. I check out your site and a few others, but even your blog is sprinkled with fashion and movie reviews. Sometimes that small text and random bolding is sign to stop reading because it's just gonna be high school emo anyway.

I've had a layout block for nearly 7 months now lol.
Must be a bit scary having guys hit on you like that, I would just tell them to piss off if they didn't leave me alone. I've never experienced being hit on by a guy though, apart from a builder whistling but that was just gross. But it you could also take what they're doing as a compliment though, having all of those guys liking you

Boys will be boys, but at least you feel that it doesn't matter to you as much anymore. Sometimes guys don't hit on you for the simple fact you look intimidating.

And ugh, creepy guys are terrible. It's especially bad when some guys who are into their twenties mistake me for not-a-sixteen-year-old.. Awkward situations!
I think the solution here is to have the boyfriend glare menacingly at the stoners.
Maybe you just hate it because all the creepy guys are hitting on you. I am sure if good looking ones that you were actually interested in were you wouldn't be complaining =P.
Ah new layout, that's fun =) Yeah well sometimes things don't just fade out, I must admit, my site is like that, i have a celebrity in my header, I think this is the second or third time actually doing a celebrity in my header in the past 5 years of being a webhost. Oh well. And well I like the italics and bold, it makes the text seem less boring.

Small fonts hurt my eyes to read so since they do I just skip reading the site. I'm willing to look at something more that I can read comfortably. Also, just celebrity layouts tend to annoy me. Don't know why….
Creepy guys are terrible, indeed. They are just disgusting and seriously need to stay away after I, you, or whoever say no. It's just gross.
The new layout is great! I love the colors
I can't stand celebrity layouts. As if celebrities need to be praised and worshiped any more than they already are 
Hopefully those websites will outgrow that phase and move on to something a little more in good taste
All I can say about those boys is that boys will be boys. I know it's creepy and everything, but hey, think of it this way, it's a compliment to your good looks 
Boys are annoying. The same thing happens when my friends and I go out to a bar and there are just some people who will NOT take no for an answer. It's so annoying. At least they didn't follow you to your house or something. Creepers!
I love the new layout. It's so colorful and nice. The 8pt font…lol, I'm guilty of it sometimes, but I try and keep it 9 or above.

Guys can get a little annoying like that, but when you're single and they seem half decent I dont mind. But sometimes it pisses me off when they cant take no for an answer.

Sometimes I'm flattered when a guy hits me. But then there's times when creepy, crusty guys who have nothing better to do than entertain their hormones cross the very clear line. Those moments are extremely uncomfortable. I actually have a blog about such an instance.

Hmm ..maybe people don't necessarily think what they're doing is cool. Maybe they just like some color and an emphasis on certain words.

It looks fine, but I would add more padding to the form fields and change the background colour of them to something a bit lighter.
