I have all sorts of weird stuff like that happen once in awhile. Once I became sexually active, it's really less predictable. Sometimes pills cause spotting too, and the way your body reacts to the pill can change over time. I would just make sure you get your regular check-ups each year and bring it up then. I keep a list of things to ask my doctor about actually, so if I end up in for something else or just a routine visit I will remember to bring it up. If there's no pain, I wouldn't worry, but if there's a Planned Parenthood near you you can make an appointment for free or cheap if you are concerned, or you could even just call an advice nurse if your have medical insurance.

Once you start becoming sexually active, your body tends to change. Mine still does, even if it's been more than a year that I've been sexually active. Just last month my own body threw me for a loop when my period came a week late. It's always been on time, even though I'm not on the pill. I can always count on getting it on time every month. I thought I was pregnant but it was really nothing. I'd go to a Planned Parenthood if you're really worried. It's best to be safe than sorry. It may not be anything, but peace of mind is always best.

I really think you have nothing to worry about. To be honest, I have had the exact same situation. I worried constantly until my next cycle. If you do not miss your next period, you're more likely to be safe and not pregnant.

I'm not a doctor, but I have had some experiences with odd periods/birth control. Even if your period has been normal for 6 years, the pill can cause an odd period here and there. I've been on depo since I was about 18 (I'm now 22) and at everything was normal but about a year ago I ended up having my period for 2 weeks straight. After that, it went back to normal. So it's not always consistant and you shouldn't be worried, BUT if you're still really concerned, talk to your doctor.

I had a little chat with my grandmother about your concerns (she's a retired nurse btw) and she said it's normal to have a brownish-red tint colour to your period. So I don't see the need to be worried about it if you're starting on your period. It could've meant that you were starting your period while you were having sex with wesley. I hope that helped you?

As long as it isn't strangely painful, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Sometimes when I have sex close to my period time, it will sort of jump start my period, if that makes sense. Like, let's say my period is supposed to be on Monday, but I have sex a few times during the weekend; I'll sometimes get my period a few days sooner. It's happened before…and also, sometimes having sex makes my periods heavier than usual too.

It's nothing to worry about. I actually think that's premenstrual spotting. Happens a lot to me. It appears a few hours before actual period begins.

I actually get that a lot. I keep thinking I'm pregnant whenever I get it because I do find it unusual, but it does happen to me a few days before my period starts or a few days after it ends. It's not really anything to worry about. =)
